Summary
Jain Bhajans does not collect, store, or share any personal information. The app does not have user accounts, does not use analytics, and does not embed any third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
What stays on your device
- Your list of favorite bhajans
- Your reader preferences (text size, layout)
- A cached copy of the bhajan catalog
These are stored only in the app's local storage on your phone or tablet. They never leave your device. Uninstalling the app removes them.
What the app fetches over the network
To keep the bhajan catalog up to date, the app makes read-only HTTPS requests to the public file version.json hosted on GitHub Pages. If a newer version is available, it downloads the catalog file. These requests are anonymous — no account, device identifier, IP address, or personal information is sent by the app. GitHub may log access to these public files according to its own privacy statement.
Permissions
The app requests only the standard internet permission required to download the catalog. It does not access the camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, calendar, or any other personal data.
Children's privacy
The app is appropriate for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be noted on the app website.
